iShip continues its market leadership by developing a cutting edge technology called Offline Processing (OLP). Offline Processing allows users the ability to continue to rate packages and print UPS Certified shipping labels in the event they lose Internet connectivity. If the shipping location loses its Internet connection the application automatically switches to "offline" mode. While offline the application will continually poll for a connection and once it senses there is a viable connection, it will switch back to on-line mode and automatically synchronize all the activity for that location. This allows an organization to be able to utilize the flexibility and low overhead of a web based application and enjoy the reliability of knowing that they can always ship, regardless of their Internet connectivity.

An iShip Enterprise customer is already reporting impressive results from the new Street Level Address Verification and Validation (AV&V) feature. Before the rollout of the feature, the customer was experiencing address correction charges on 8 - 10% of their shipments. After receiving their first carrier invoices since AV&V has been available, only one shipment incurred an address correction charge, well under 1% of the total.
Before AV&V was available, iShip provided the customer with a very healthy ROI from rate shopping, carrier tracking, and productivity features. Now, the savings from the AV&V feature alone cover over 50% of the customer's iShip service fees. The iShip Service is a great investment that keeps getting better.
